Blogging to take my mind off exam stress!! taking a break from revision (i am perfectly entitled to ok!!!) anyway this is how i spent my christmas. christmas is my favourite season of all time mainly because i was raised to love christmas :) i was in holland as a kid and we had the whole santa thing :) i think we had christmas stockings! and we also had a candy chest HOHOHOH candy treasure chest. (random fact)
interesting fact, i don't have many memories from my younger childhood days but i do remember loving candy because my mom said it was really hard taking care of me while i cried in the baby back seat while she was driving through a bunch of snow and ice on the way to the market so she gave me lots and lots of candy!
anyway the prevailing memory in my mind has always been my MOST FAVOURITE CANDY OF ALL TIME which was a rectangular chewy candy stick with lines across all the way down, with green on one side and yellow on the other. it was from holland so anyone from the netherlands, if you know of such a candy, PLEASE comment/email and let me know, because i will love you forever if i find it!
anyway, i remember being really scared of santa. he came to my house one day (me and my sister were not even asleep what is this !!) and i cried over my daddy's shoulder. well he was scary! he was fat and beard-y and he had a pot belly! argh! da horror! if i was a kid and i met the grinch i would DIE
anyway this iz me! a time when i curled my hair for fun. wearing my winter coat so it's kind of christmassy? i guess?
the time i wore high heeled shoes to "provoke the snow" hahah because i woke up too late and i MISSED IT! i also curled my hair for that purpose. my reasoning was that the snow would either try to make me fall and slip (which it has before) OR mess up by hair. but snow was on its best behaviour that day and didn't arrive :( so i didn't get the white christmas i wanted.
pretty pretty setting at our friend lucky's place on christmas eve his name is really lucky! i think that's really special and lucky :)
how pretty was the setting omg. and then he turned on glee christmas songs which was the BEST ATMOSPHERE EVER. till one of our friends played ps3, some very bloody game OMG i didn't realise boy games were so violent! *runs back to girly thoughts of rainbows and unicorns* hahaha but anyway it was interesting to watch.. i guess
was also our friend JW's belated birthday so we had a surprise cake ^^

i got 6 different scents of crabtree and evelyn hand creams from my secret santa (jake) which i LOVE! so appropriate for me, thanks a lot!!! :) i've smelt all of em and they smell amazing
oh yes and me, bf and bf's housemate jake spent actual christmas at midnight mass at the church :) we left lucky's place for a while to go to church and then went back there again and played taboo and sing star karaoke. which i am amazed i am quite decent at considering it was my first time ever playing! anyway it's always nice being in church. i always feel at home :)
on christmas day itself bf and i decided to stay in and cook and snuggle :) this was my leftover mashed potato. looks better than previously right hahaha

we also had hot milo with marshmallows!! which i know doesnt look good at all here but it was yummy! and then we snuggled watching the grinch and i totally cried at the end because i am an ultimate crybaby. anyway it was a great time with bf and i think it's amazing spending time with your loved one on special occasions. we cuddled all night and that was the one night bf actually snuggled into me exponentially instead of how we normally sleep, ie, once i'm falling asleep, i'll edge away from bf cos he breathes on me and it's hot and stuffy la omg. hahaah and sometimes he DROOLS on my hair like EW. and sometimes he takes all the pillow and i take all the blankie. but that night he was sooo loving :) in the innocent sense of the word.

so this is another picture of the actual jersey. it suits him, he looks quite good in it. and shout out to shaun loo for helping me out because lord knows i am the least informed when it comes to football stuff and where to get this and that and printing and lord knows what else.
btw i was thinking of printing "lee" behind because baby goes by LEE and printing the number "31" because that's our anniversary number but i didn't know what numbers signified and they ran out of letters for printing so i refrained from printing because baby can go ahead and do it himself another day. and thank God i refrained because apparently "31" is a number no football star would want AHAHAHAHAHAH according to one of matt's friends i asked XD
anyway for christmas baby got me that purple pillow. he said he was going for thoughtful because i've been sleeping on the two pillows at the side which are losing fluff and it's so unfluffy i normally end up sleeping on my ARM LOL . so yeah that's the pillow he got me, now i have 4 pillows in total (actually, 5, there's a tiny pillow mom gave me which sez "i miss you" aww). anyway thanks dear for the pillow, i actually really do appreciate it and it definitely makes my bed look more cuddly and inviting
he also got me this bag which i've been eyeing for quite a long time but never got because i was waiting for a sale which never came. it's a basic bag for class because i don't have a brown one and most of my bags are damn ugly T__T either too big or too sporty. thanks b, really appreciate it :) really like the stud designs along the sides and the cute coin zipper :)
my christmas nails! i didn't actually like em that much after i got em painted because i thought they looked too messy. i don't suggest using a glitter polish if you're gonna have lots of detailing, one of the lessons i learnt anyway. it's snow, a christmas star and a cross. all things christmassy :)
and this is my right hand. mostly snow because using my left hand to paint is harder. and on my thumb is a reindeer ^^

anyway am pretty much drowning in exam stress!!! it is in a WEEK! please lift me up in your prayers. i hope you spent your christmas beautifully and are enjoying the new 2012!
in the meantime i just wanna say thank you to God for His divine providence, and especially his humble coming into the world to show us how to be more like Him :)
