With reference to yesterday's post, I made a vow. And today, that so-called vow was fulfilled with upmost strength and willingness. I attempted to face my deepest and darkest phobia. (No, not eggs you idiot.) Exposing myself in public(no not stripping you idiot), exposing myself to potential rapists, murderers, mutilaters, robbers, muggers and such.
I took public transport. And all by my lonesome. Me Me Me. All me. ME. Do i rock your socks or do I rock your panties. Daymn. I rock. Me. Rocks. Your. Socks.
Entrance into serious mode:
Due to circumstances which have happened in the past (which may not be said), I have had this tremendous fear of being raped. I know, it's every girl's fear. But my fear is greatest. Just cause. No i wasn't raped before lah. Just cause. End of story.
KL has many stories circulating around, ie, girl raped by taxi driver and killed, girl's 7K stolen from apartment, girl jumped down a 4th floor to avoid being raped, girl's wrist slit for not surrendering her belongings. Worst of all, girl had a log stuffed up her vagina all the way to her neck. So you know how life is. The world is turning into a place where we no longer recognise our own species, yes people, it is time that we look out and be aware of every little thing. Trust me, I am paranoid. LOL. But if could happen to them, it could happen to us too.
KLAH enough scaring la. ( it's real tho). ANYWAY, the story of my bravery further continues....................... with...........
POL COMING TO KL!
YES SHE IS HERE PEOPLE!!
And thus, when I heard she was coming, I saw an opportunity to fulfill my vow, I jumped right at it! I said YES GOD, I heed your call. I am going all the way to see her. I live in Subang and she's in KL. For all miri people, we call this whole place KL right, but for KL people, KL is only a city (in case you didn't know).
Here we go yo. Taxi man yo. I was in here buh muhself yo. Yo yo yo. YO. I was headed to the komuter station. haha it's within walking distance actually, but I didn't wanna walk (reference to girl's wrist slit). and also, cause my hair was real pretty and wind would've totally ruined it. Oh ya but before I left the house, my eyes started to hurt real badly and I needed to take out my contacts and wore specs instead and that totally decreased my level of prettyness by 10teragigamega times so I said ah heck, just be ugly lah, and tied up all my pretty hair. LOL.
Then, I met up with Bel and Idzrul (her bf) and we made our way to see pol ze pink princess. hahaha. pol iboh manas. :)
Here is the happy couple! With bags (which I thought were couple bagpacks, but aren't couple bagpacks according to her.) But nvm, we shall perceive it as couple bagpacks!
Pol ze Pink Princess~ (iboh manas) hehehe.. Isn't she pretty. Few months ago, pol didn't have straightened hair and she refused any form of pink bestowed against her. Pol, you're all grown up now *sniff* You make me proud! *big bear hug* (fuzzzzzy)
Pol brought a friend too, emma. Whom I owe my life, for she taught me how to use the KTM to go home (more of this later). Sorry no pics of you Emma.
Awww schweeeet~ They had couple slippers too, according to bel, but his kena stolen at the masjid. And he returned home with lousy bathroom slippers. Sad. :(
Some more of them.
And no pics of me. Cause specs make me ugly. =S
Anyway, we hung out, and then Bel and Idzrul left their own way, so Pol Emma and I went shopping for a little bit. And then it was time, time to embark on my journey home ALONE.
By that time, I had no idea where I was, we apparently went to Sogo and walked to the KTM station. Emma helped me buy a ticket to Subang and I went on my way. It was already dark and we all know darkness is where the lurkers crawl. LOL.
I made sure I went on the platform which said Pelabuhan Klang and sat there next to an old lady. More people started coming. The train going to Seremban arrived at the other side of the platform, and I saw someone who looked like me, her back was facing towards me, but she had my outlines (LOL). That lookalike on the train reminded me of lookalikes. lol. andd.....
..I immediately thought back to the time I was in love. It was in hongkong disneyland, when my bf and I had already broken up. My bf and I traveled in separate groups, and all day long I would wish I would bump into him. I looked at every single guy, wishing it were him, wishing that spec dude would be him, that spiky hair dude would be him. The day at disneyland was magic, music from disney soundtracks played all day, but as the day grew longer, it felt like shrills to my ears, as I had glanced at way too many lookalikes and felt sick to my stomach. I didn't have much fun at all. Because I depended on him, i wanted to see him, i wanted to stay seeing him.
But yea anyway why is this diverting to my lovelife, lol nvmla linger here a while ah, lovelife topic. So anyway I realise I've been depending too much on my boyfriends, i didn't even have my own fun in disneyland! And hence I know now that I need to learn to stand on my own two feet, and stand strong, before I ever start dating again. END OF LOVELIFE STORY.
Anyway, 20 minutes later, my train arrived. I got on it, and sat nearest to the door facing the signboard. And then, I thought, darn this specs why can't I see a thing, contacts are seriously better la, so I squinted and tried to look at the signboard. The train was moving, yes it was. Then I realised, oh no oh no, where am I from again? Panicking I smsed pol and asked her where she dropped me off. She said Bank Negara. Bank Negara? Isn't that like the scholarship place that DECLINED me? Looking at the signboard, I found it *phew*.
I looked to my side and there was a blank seat, next to the blankseat, there was a transvestite dude with a nice briefcase. Wait a minute. Briefcase. It was cube-ish and greatly sealed. OMG could this be what I think it is? Something that detonates? Anyway, transvestite dude looked sorta scary. But I guess he wouldn't have a penis for malicious intention, so it aint so bad after all. ha ha ha. I'd rather have him than a bangla/indon. (stereotype mode : on. dont perasan if you dont think you ought to be stereotyped)
Station after station, people kept coming in. I gazed intently at every person and wondered what to think of them.
(Paranoia mode : on)
I looked around and thought, hey that grey-shirt-guy had fluttering eyelids cause he was falling asleep but why oh why were his eyeballs looking at that woman's underpart. Gosh. Or wait, maybe he was looking at her handbag. 'Beware pink lady, please beware!', I monologued. A woman came to sit next to me. She wore a yellow shirt. She said sorry for placing a plastic bag on my foot, she must be kinda nice, for people in msia dont usually say sorry. The guy in black opposite me looked pretty genuine and harmless, but haih, the possibilites~
There was another yellow shirt guy diagonal to me, he looked like a harmless student. And hey, there was another yellow shirt guy, and why did he keep looking at me, and looking away when i caught him looking? Did he care for me? Aww. Is this a lesson to me that I should hate the colour yellow less?
Station after station, people came in. At Pandai Dalam, grey-shirt guy walked on his way out. Wait a minute, why is there a bump at the genital area of his jeans(don't look at me in disgust ok, this is a skill lydia and I learned in form3. its called erm, observing.) oooh I knew that guy was up to no good. Anyway, he's gone forever at the pantai dalam stop. Good riddance.
My eyes then beheld a pretty little 8-year old girl. Stripe pink and grey shirt, black bandana, rings on her 3rd and 4th little fingers, and cute pink polka dot shoes, with a ribbon on it. She was smiling at her bro. I thought instantly, little girl get out before you-know-what detonates. You have the rest of your life to live, if koko doesn't make it, you will. Write a book, swim the seven seas, Live baby, live. And then I thought hey, I am on this train too, im too young to die! See this shows how my instincts are directed to little kids before me, hence showing the great mother I will be! *grins*
Glancing to my left, I saw a guy with a nice face and kind eyes He looked like the crossbreed of Chrispian and the Ong guy my friend used to date. Wait a minute, wasn't the Ong guy a gangster. Haih the possibilities~ He looked kind though, but then at the Petaling stop, a girl with pink flannel blocked my view of him. No girl, can't I have a little comfort? Do not block. Haih nevermind la, look at the yellow guy lah. (eh don't call me a guy fisher ok, as much as i'd like to be a feminist right now, guys have physical strength which are used to protect ok, I just needed more security.)
After the longest while, my hands were already starting to get cold, I got off at Subang Jaya. Found a taxi driver hwb5344(in case you see this taxi driver, he's safe ok!), got in and saw a girl in there. I thought yes! someone to talk to me, finally. So I talked to her till we reached. Shes from inti, doing pre-engineering alevels, just like me, just around my height, and pretty. Taxi driver sent her home 1st and as I watched her leave , I thought *haih bye my soulmate-that-could've-been* and adjourned home. Safely :)
Btw, don't take me seriously when I talked about the thing that detonates. It was probably some pet cat or something. Lol. cali. Too many action movies and this is what happens la. lol.
Anyway, this whole story ladies and gentleman, depicts how Sarah Jane was SUCH a Big Brave Girl today.
=)
And pol, bel, it was lovely to see you both again~
