Dead Flowers

I was working on my Sheffield Undergraduate essay and realised that my English is no longer as flowery as it used to be.

What's happening! Am i turning into a shallow straightforward writer!! This is not good! I cannot seem to express myself with the most accurate words anymore =(

I'm sweating cold sweat. I haven't been well lately. The weather is excruciatingly hot at times. Could it be some adverse effect from the heat wave? My heart palpitations have increased significantly and I feel really fatigued everytime I do simple things like climb 3 floors. Could it be side effects from the supplements I take for my skin? or could it just be lack of exercise since my body has been so used to the old band days.

Or could it just be stress. I have a zit on my forehead. 2 weeks to finals.

Everytime I think of it, I toss and turn in bed for 2 hours =/ I try to console myself by comparing it to SPM times when I studied a day before the exam for almost every subject.

But it's not the same anymore. Everything gradually toughens. I heard a woman in office wear yammering furiously on the phone about deadlines and it frightened me.

Does life really have to be that sour?

One thing at a time. I need to pick up my act before I drown in uni life.

PICK UP YOUR ACT SARAH JANE.

Mission Dream

Wokeh so since I can't sleep, Ima tell you about my famous mission dream which ive had twice in my life, once a year for two consecutive years =D

Before that, I just want to say I studied something today Praise God! Albeit very minimal, teenie weenie bit like the size of babycharlie's pinkie. =D

Anyway, I talked to rui ting today in the library and she didn't manage to get the offer to Imperial College London and she told me that I should really really heed this opportunity to study in the uni since I was lucky enough to get in! It struck me hard because it would be a dream, the ivy league of the UK as kris calls it.

But mummy called today and said our family just cannot afford it. Sigh, it is true. Even if I work part-time, I won't have enough. Living expenses are killer and I've got two little baby brothers to go and the last thing I want to do is hog the money, it's just not fair to do so.

So you can just imagine what flashed through my mind after I screwed up the SimeDarby scholarship interview, when I was crying a Sungai Rajang + a little more Ca and Mg salts wtf.

Mummy said it's ok to be ambitious, but within reasonable circumstances. I think what she says is completely true. Maybe this is just not God's plan for me. I know that you will disagree if you're a non-believer because you probably feel that you're the one who decides your life and everything depends on how hard you work for it. But you have to agree that taking something from your family this way is a tad selfish even if its your heart's desire/the sweetest drug/the shiniest star/the sharpest stalagmite/the roundest teddybear wtf

And it's not even my heart's desire/the sweetest drug... /all of the above because I haven't dreamed about imperial since ever, like rui ting or mark has. Plus i'm really not that bright or intelligent, i was just really blessed to get in. Really, I am not as bright as a student should be once in Imperial.

And truthfully, I don't really know my dream. I don't really know my goals because I feel that it's useless to have goals (jackie influenced me) cause by having goals, you just live your life reaching for the next goal and the next and the next till you die. And life is not goals goals goals im beckam from man utd i am da man liverpool sucks ass =D Life is more of how you have a heart and soul and how you live in utter fulfillment.

And to me, fulfillment isn't always only about worldly things we can acquire. It's about the journey, our journey of faith and love and thanksgiving and sacrifice and it's really prettiest that way :)

Ok ima talk about my mission dream some other time cause this post is way too long and my eyes are droopy goodnight all and sorry to those who were excited to hear about my mission dream! next time ok, promise! (yer im so perasan XD)

26th april resolution

WHY AM I BLOGGING AGAIN?
-because I can't study. 3 weeks sarah 3 weeks. you're not gonna like double E's again. 3 weeks sarah jane 3 WEEKS.

Anyway, today I want to make an april 26th resolution =D

1. Get that image of the fierce interviewer's eyes outa my mind.
For real, when I lie in bed, I feel like the vitreous humour is going to like turn me into goo and devour me! I kinda have this image of the amoeba and how it eats and how those eyes are gonna eat me. >.<

2. Learn to be myself with everybody and anybody.
I just posted these random pics up of my old housemates and I at redbox.

Why? cause I remember at that time, I couldn't really click well with them. I just entered taylors and was all gloom and doom. I was an anti-people person, emotionally unstable with the break-up and bad results and with my failure at being independent. And plus there was the language barrier. Not that I can't speak mandarin, my mandarin is those like pariah one and English has always been my 1st language. They're nice and friendly people, and if I were given the chance now to stay with them again, I bet I'd do just fine =) Funny how you don't miss the things you've had till it's gone.

Ai Vui singing, she's from chunghua miri, anyone knows her? That's me looking like I'm stoned from taking excessive amounts of ibuprofen ;P yerseh NOLAH haha i was too drunk to move yerseh NOLAH i was tired zzzz. =.="

Actually, up till now, I'm still not familiar with my everyday routine. There are times when I wake up in the morning and feel out of place. There have been so many times I've blushed/stuttered while talking, cried on my bed, dreaded classes to a really bad extent which i've never ever felt before this, told my insecurities off sternly, and chose to be bold when run down by others, to go on and pretend nothing happened when it hurt. anyway i shall stop now this is such a rant la macauhai.

3. Date an artsy guy. HAHAHA this so totally contradicts my previous post, well i'm not serious about this one. I just realised that literacy in men is so sexy. I love guys with a voice, just not one that's too egoistic to overshadow mine ;)

4. Save up after A2 to eat at some of the expensive places in KL I've never eaten at before. Yum, cause food just brings out the fatty in me. Plus if i save up to buy clothes, my luggage is going to be overweight ok!

Ok i am going to eat now.

Billieboo Reincarnated!

Oh here he is, beautiful Billieboo my favourite cat in the whole wide world.

Sometime last year, he died. =*(

* * * * * * * MOMENT OF SILENCE * * * * * * * * *

Fucking car driver ima get you one day! $##$^@#%%&#$%#$#!

Anyway, today I saw him again. OKLAH IT WASNT HIM, but it was a cat of the same breed!

WHEE! all black, yellow eyes, fluffy tail! love love love! *tears*

Billieboo, i miss you so much. I cried a few times thinking of you. =/ There aint no kitty on this earth ever gona replace you dear. not even the new you.

The new billieboo kinda hid from me, he was really shy and sneaky. He went under the car and I looked under for a little while, got up to adjust my bag and when I looked under again, he was gone.

But i'll find you again one day! =D

Anyway, in tuition today, i couldn't answer so many questions and sir noticed and asked if i fell in love.

*chokes on water and dies*

I feel very disgusted just by watching couples these days. I remember when my 2nd relationship failed, I asked myself how I was ever attracted to guys (not that i was ever attracted to girls ok, im straight ok!)

When all those girls swooned on how handsome guys were, all i could think about was how guys don't change their underwear, masturbate themselves to sleep, and smell their shit. WTF. (not that all guys are like this ok, they just seemed to be at that time, aih so tired of explaining myself)

And now, I'm kinda back to that, except i'm not anti-guy. Im just anti-couple. Couples make me sick!! Okla not all, kinda biased for I support my friends but couples from the rest of the world make me sick!

To add to it, i watched the movie 'he's just not into you' lately and there was this one part of the story about a 3rd party. And how the married man curang sleep with some other woman but still wants to make his marriage work and his wife found out he's a liar and the 3rd party woman got sick of him screwing his wife in front of her and you know what!

They all ended up alone.

Seriously, why don't you just don't love in the 1st place!

Ok, now back to billieboo, I'm totally gona get the same breed next time when I have a household (note the word 'household' instead of 'family'/'lover'). omg i sound like a spinster already. -__________-

Mother of Mine =)

Mother of mine you gave to me,
all of my life to do as I please,
I owe everything I have to you,
Mother sweet Mother of mine.

Mother of mine when I was young
you showed me the right way things had to be done,
without your arms where would I be,
Mother sweet Mother of mine.

Mother you gave me happiness,
much more than words can say,
I thank the lord let me breathe with you,
every night and every day.

Mother of mine now I am grown
and I can walk straight all on my own,
I'd like to give you what you gave to me,
Mother sweet Mother of mine.

Happy Birthday my dearest Mummy.

Fat Money-Costing Blunder

SimeDarby 2nd level undergraduate scholarship interview?

I blew it. Fullstop. I nailed the 1st part, screwed the other 2. 2 is way more than enough to eliminate you.

No down under for you kris. No more imperial. No more scholarship.

Well, I used to brief on each phase I've been to but nope, aint gonna do it now because I don't want to talk about it. I know I could've nailed it, its just that the topic wasn't on the subject matter that I am familiar with.

SimeDarby is a conglomerate company, covering areas like oil and gas, plantation, motor, property, tourism, healthcare, business, you name it, you got it.

I applied for an engineering scholarship. Others applied for actuarial science, economics, accounting and finance.

We were clumped up together.

The topic I sucked at was the relocation of a software company providing product and services to different states in terms of business and marketing, linking details obtained by portfolios on organisation structure charts, obtained based on goverment surplusses, percentages, economical/geographical growth and preferences of chief executives/top minds of a company/workload. Advantages of each place, Cyberjaya, Kulim, Penang, Ipoh and challenges of relocation. Also, how to convince like a salesman does when attacked by customers based on US treasury bonds, Asian Trader bonds, discounts, refunds, time periods, cost price and details.

Obviously not my area of expertise, perhaps a precise bullseye shot for some of the candidates as they have had prior knowledge to finance/business strategies/economics as theyve taken the subjects in A-levels, plus working experience in the field. I am a science pre-engineering student. I take NIL of those subjects. My knowledge on the field is little, negligible compared to those who've sat for them and gotten an A somemore. Do you know that an entire A-Level syllabus covers such a tremendous scope?

It just wasn't my thing and I struggled to the extent I was so tempted to just walk out the door and leave. I stayed though, and fought, though I felt like a failure to myself at that time, like I was talking no sense. But I know for a fact that I'm just not well-versed in the topics as some of them are.

Kept my head high in front of candidates through it all and at the end of it, I left, walked over to a nearby mall, sat on this shoe shop chair and took a leak. And by leak i mean streams and stream of tears, kept em coming for quite a while, had quite a lot of spectators actually. Even a little baby boy made his way over to hold my hands.

Well it was a chance, an opportunity, I've gone so far, I've been persistent with this company. Of course I was frustrated.

A big thank you to mom, sis and gracie for being so supportive of me though after the big blunder.

Sometimes in life, there are just things that aren't meant for you, and this is simply one of it.

Do I wish to be bonded to a company that wants to hire achievers but yet has such a narrow perspective in terms of the interview, emphasizing on only one aspect where business students would naturally excel in? I do not see fair and square competition in that. And I am sure the hundreds of engineering/arts applicants feel the same way.

Do I wish to work for a company which cannot acknowledge what i'm good at when I specifically mentioned my interest to major in a particular course, but rather, drill me for the things I lack which are already not required of me at this point of time, costing me half a million for it, which reflects an inauspicious future for lack of acknowledgment/promotion in the specified field?

I could just graduate, be great at what i'm currently good at, perhaps earn a lot more than what SimeDarby can offer me initially and at the end of the day say, no regrets. I gave it my all.

I do not have the capital funding now to go as far but God will make a way. In the longrun, I will look back in hindsight and maybe, be pleased with the road not taken.

Your loss, Simedarby =)

Friendship

At times, I wonder if I'm the one at fault for a faded friendship. Im not talking about anyone btw, in fact im just talking about me in general.

Sometimes, I have this mindset that I destroyed a closeness I once had with the people who have been a part of my life once before. Sometimes, when two people have been away for the longest of times, years and such, and remeets, there just isnt that spark anymore. Meeting up feels like a formality and at times it is not easy to pretend you're having the best of times.

Time, or the lack thereof, takes away what bonds people close together till you just no longer relate to a person and realise that the both of you have just sprouted into individuality.

The worst of all times for rekindling what was lost is to rekindle it when you're shaky and unaware of your belonging in a certain place or with a certain friend. Another painful thing is when a person tries to bring you into a group when you're not even comfortable in your own shoes. The most painful of all is when a person feels like you held a grudge against that person when the truth is, you've been too insecure to be yourself.

There are also incidences where a person has been so close to you and one day, everything just goes away. Said person required something out of you for your own good but you just felt unable to give it to said person because of the timing and because of your inability to comprehend. But you just don't feel like you should change the essence of you nor force yourself into something that's unreal even if it may be good for you, so you didnt carry out what was expected of you.

Just like that, and bham, it's gone.

And then, there's always the other inevitable fact, distance and an inauspicious future. No longer keeping in touch and growing to be yourself without a person who's watched you grow.

Losing friendship is the saddest of all sads. Worse than when things with a boyfriend don't really work out. Usually after a break-up, I'd turn into full-on wreck but when it does settle, I see clearer. But when a friendship is lost forevermore, you just spend every quiet time wondering whether one day, it'll come back.

But I do know I should be grateful and happy for the friendships in my life that have been impaired but have climbed its way back up :) I am willing to put in effort after the smoke clears because some friendships are worth it. Kinda like a friendship with someone who owns a basketball with me :)

Today, I had dinner with another old friend and friend talked to me about my interview tomorrow, advised me on which taxi to take, what time to be there and asked the venue. Upon hearing it was in KL city, friend had on a look of so much anxiety for me and I laughed at the expression because it painted care and love in such a beautiful way. Friend questioned my sudden joy and looked at me with true innocence. Friend then offered to move friend's classes to accompany me for lunch so that friend may watch me get into a taxi safely.

It appealed to me that there are still people out there, who'd go the extra mile. And to those who have done so for me in one way or another, I never wish for our hearts to say goodbye.

Career Paths

Hello all!

Today, (instead of studying), I went with Pris and Berns to do this personality test to determine the career paths you might want to pursue, followed by a nice long talk with a psychologist who appeals to me as a spinster who has insecurity about her job (more on this later).

These are my results:

Based on category:

REALISTIC : 1
INVESTIGATIVE : 9
ARTISTIC : 23
SOCIAL : 13
ENTERPRISING : 12
CONVENTIONAL : 6

Job Options:
1. Broadcast News Analysis
2. Editors
3. Copy Writers
4. Advertising and Promotions Managers
5. Creative Writers
6. Poets and Lyricists
7. Producers
8. Reporters and Correspondents
9. Music Arrangers and Orchestrators
10. Film and Video Editors
11. Art Directors
12. Directors-Stage, Motion Pictures, TV and Radio
13. Cartoonists
14. Curators
15. Public Relations Specialists
16. Dancers
17. Graphic Designers
18. Librarians (WTF I WILL NEVER BE THIS)
19. Interior Designers

So I talked to the woman and told her that my interests at the moment may not necessarily reflect my capabilities cause I don't think I'd be good at filming/producing even though it'd be cool. I also told her that certain jobs may or may not prepare job security for the future for me, my family, my babies (it's always about the babies) unless I plan to work overseas and not ever come back to malaysia cause well, in malaysia you gotta be great at what you do to be BIG and I don't think I have what it takes to be big. And I asked, isn't it safer to do something that gives you a stable future so that at the end of the day, if you have interests in other things, you can do all that in your free time or even venture into other fields as well?

don't get me wrong here. I have friends who have real passion in what they do and i foresee great futures for them because of how hard they work and really, who has the right to say whether a person succeeds or not? To each her own and those who have so much interest in what they do have that drive to do the best that they can and they make it in the end by hook or by crook, not to mention their interest just leads them to research on the field and grab experiences which further help them but the thing is i'm not categorised under this category because my heart is here and there and everywhere. love socialising, love thinking, love art, love sciences, love winning wtfh am i supposed to do?!?!

And I kinda mentioned that there might not be numerous jobs for psychology and you know what!

She got pissed and said , "excuse me, am i not a psychologist" and glared at me with her bulging eyes!

Ok gee i'm sorry ok! Nothing personal ok! I asked on that cause I considered psychology before but then I was afraid there were no jobs so she kinda lectured me on that for a little while, which really shows how insecure she is about her job ok!

Im a better psychologist than her wtf, can understand her human behaviour.

Sheesh so like next time if a patient goes and feels depressed about cutting her hair short or something and if the psychologist has short hair, she will throw a fit and get mad at the patient isit!

Then after she talked to berns which calmed her nerves a little, she kinda mentioned ever so casually that to get a job as a psychologist, you're gonna at least need masters and for our batch, you're gonna need a phd, like hello, isn't that what i was saying!

Gah anyway, i don't like this woman. period.

I know the job considerations reflect my interest and i am already pursuing some, was conductor for band, did some drama acting, am a college editor but i don't really know if these things will last forever after i meet the love of my life.

See aren't these things we need to consider too? I kinda think the psychologist woman signed an oath or something to stay faithful to the personality test and stick to it no matter what. I can totally predict her behaviour i can totally pawn her in the psychology field.

Plus i like sciences and engineering subjects ok! and there's no hint that engineering may be one of my jobs on the list, you know why! cause the quiz had questions like 'do you like laying bricks for houses', 'do you like painting a house under hot scorching sun' gee am i supposed to like those stuff to be an engineer, apparently so according to her.

Plus i considered law before(considering how insistent i am right now that im right and she's wrong) and there's nothing on the list that says i should do law.

Ok i will stop now cause this post is more of me not liking her and not on career paths, the title should be like 'the lady of ultimate wrongness' instead.

byebye!

BirthVerse

I found this website and it's really dear! It's for you to search for your birthverse, enter your birthday and there's a verse. It's nice :)

See your birthverse!

This is mine!

Micah 6:8 NIV...And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.

Anyway, daddy just gave me a rough idea on what he thinks the next phase interview will be like. Couldn't ingest what he was saying cause he got caught up in his thoughts and spoke real quickly O.O while I was struggling with note-taking and adjusting the phone positioning. I don't know what all those fancy terms mean! HMM.

The 2nd phase is apparently quite tough indeed with presentations, discussions and role plays in a company.

But in the end daddy said 'just use your own skills la... if you have any. *chuckles*'

GEE THANKS A LOT DAD! XD

Got to talk to sis too and she gave her version of her explanation. Easier to understand coz not so complex. Thanks sis! Remember the flowers for mummy's birthday! <3

Aftermath

My trial results. SUCK.

At least i didn't fail anything ok. I am incapable of failing chewahhh eeyer sj so proud, sj you think you are so cool meh ccb.

Anyway, I wasted my whole 2 weeks holiday crying over spilled milk, wasting cash on movie marathons, clothes and other unnecessities and well today, I just want to say, screw holidays! Who's with me!

Holidays are like the spawn of all evil, i tell you. The days of wastages. The time where temptation contains you within their devious palms for regret to mount to extensive degrees. Nocturnal opportunities. Phenomenal sleeping disorders. Lies to self. Lies, LIES I TELL YOU.

I hate holidays.

Ok, it's like a juxtaposition of hate plus love.

Ok fine, weighing slightly towards the love scale.

Ok now tipping over ever so slightly. Tipping tipping and wait for it, it's coming! The love-o-meter red light blinks ever so fluorescently!

Haih i am so lame. Anyway, all these sad events are redeemable and I plan to engulf myself in its redemption instantly, starting tomorrow.

Am in charge of coordinating transport for churchgoers tomorrow and I used to be dragged down by the responsibility but no more! for today, I said a chirpy YES because when I grow up, I'm gona have way more responsibilities and a girl has got to be opportunistic when it comes to grabbing experience.

After that, I shall proceed to getting down to work work work, loving my work, loving my time and loving my 12pm-7am sleep.

This is my calling y'all. Love myself and what I've chosen for this life.

And you do the same too yea? No matter who you are :)

PS: Credits to tutor SLEE for always offering his help, we had a disagreement once before but I have a feeling all is reconciled. More days in the library to come SLEE, your heart is a nice one.

PS: Credits to Qhaz for the beautiful signature change as seen below. Thank you ~

Today is Clean Your Closet Day

TADAA! EMPTY! you have no idea how much fun it was to empty it. I was like some human tornado. WACHA!

piles of clothes

errr got distracted?

whee i modified my belt into a ribbon!

This pic is cool cause of the shadow of my body on the wall.

And lastly, picture of the day................(which can already be seen on the laptop)

SJ emo in her empty closet with sexy carlorinos. HAHAHA oklah i wasn't emo, i used to sit in my closet all the time on top of clothes, close the doors and sing inside. fun ma.

Yea anyway it's the picture of the day cause it's edited (i never edit my pics cause i lack that skill plus who wants to see fake me anyway). With the exception of crop, i do crop. Anyway i just simply adjusted the colours and voila! cantik huh!

Ok that's all folks, no after pic of my closet cause errrrr it got messed up again after I cleaned it up. HAHAHA cause i don't have enough hangers ok! And it's easy for it to get messed up when clothes are in high piles cause when you search for something to wear, you gotta like belongkar the whole thing! But anyway, my clothes are sorted in a colour-coordinated manner cause I love them that way!

Oh yea and Clean Your Closet Day doesn't really exist. Made it up. To inspire you guys to clean up your own closets yerseh. Use your imagination and make up your own special day ok!

Hmm, I sound like Barney the Dinosaur. *pulls out Barney Bag*

PS : guess who just got shortlisted for 2nd phase SimeDarby interview!!! MS BARNEY BAG CLEAN YOUR CLOSET DAY CREATOR HERSELF! hmm i wonder how i aced the numerical IQ test, i thought it was pureety tough indeed... Thank you God!

ok, now please jump around with me and let's break into song!

Cold&Warm

Went for a swim with Vinci tonight.

Just hung in there, swam a lot, attempted many futile handstands, hummed a few songs while underwater, splashed to see the beautiful fluorescent yellow and those bubbles that formed when I splashed around against the pool lights.

But for many intervals, I had my head cradled sideways on the edge and my arms around it, feeling my legs as they lost their feel. Letting those legs just float restlessly, like a corpse bottom down, as though a numbness fueled my body to just stop.

Why can't life be perfect. Why couldn't I just stay there forever and feel naught, no pain, no love and no desire. Just peace.

Then I sneezed. Once. Ignored it, for nothing could take me away from the moment. Nothing.

Then I sneezed again. And again. and again.

I thought, 'ark, screw it' and went to dance in the water. Jumped around, splashed some more and laughed.

Cause life is cold from the inside. Life is just that. A distorted reality, one which I take on day after day and learn to love better nonetheless.

Just to make the most of it.

你为什么要这样对待我..?

Close window if you hate clothes

Aih i figured i've written lots of those wordy posts so here is a very picturesque post ok! Heartfelt gratitude to my dearies chriss and terence for accompanying me to shop cause i really had nothing to do here since everyone's back in their hometowns for holiday(and don't say study la, you go study la cilaka you nerd).

to start off, i just want to say i like this pic cause it looks like a have a mole on my right cheek. HAHAHA lyd and i used to draw moles on ourselves in form3.

Chriss dear baked this for me, it's uber yummy i tell you! aih it's so nice having a future chef friend. =) The brownies have brilliant texture, crispy on top, moist in the middle. The muffin has got carrots, raisins in em and the scones are yummy too, though i don't know why chriss doesn't like em.

Thanks a lot chriss! Youve got me rooting for you and your future career! =D

i tried on my dream dress. anddddd i was wrong. it doesn't look nice on me. HEH. not like it looked nice on the manequin either!!!! it's too big la.... S also still big what is this la.

actually up close it looks like those biker costumes/wifebeaters.

grace would say 'metallic'. I just know!

So then i went to hunt for potential prom dresses. I really wanted floor length dresses simply cause a person never really wears floor length dresses on normal occasions!(except weddings) n so prom is my excuse! Started off at a lower end store.

a sorta murky st patrick's green.

Boooring

A shakespeare sorta feel.

Sorta liked this one, but green is not really a conventional colour. And it was expensive/not worth it.

Has the bow at the back and the bare back till above bum lol. And the dress kinda had this opening at the back, where the green parts to show a black middle.

made me look fat

siti nurhaliza

under the sea (way too big). if you see my hands holding the behind of the dress in any pic, you'll know the dress is too big.

ok ya i thought the dress looked funky but obviously it looked like i just came out of a circus.

chriss liked the roman style but the bottom was like a blanket.

this bottom sorta special but it has poor workmanship and terence hates the lace part and i asked chriss 'is the lace part too whore?' looks slutty now anyway.

i thought this was uber cute but chriss didn't like the roses. every gurl loves roses!

and chriss said made fun of the big bow behind and said i might as well have a lollipop in my mouth.

chriss made me try this on cause he thought it'd fit the gothic look with dark purple eyeliner and purple lipstick. The dress looked like a limp piece of dead fish on its own but it looked not so bad on me. ;) but i don't like it. yucks.

A break from the prom dresses to casual clothes! (i only check out those on sale, and i hate Forever 21 cause all so pricey, i never splurge a big amount on clothes, i'm just that way lah)

classy silverish top

polka dot top

colourful print dress. I bought this (i don't know why) and i made alterations cause it was slightly big. Now i wish i hadn't bought it. but it was half price!

green dress which is supposed to be lower but for picture sake, i won't reveal my breasts to you LOL

Let's take a break and look at food! We had BBQ Plaza yums yums healthy food!

Lol completely different lightings, it had lotsa stuff, beef, pork, lamb, chicken, squid, prawn, fishcake, noodles, vege etc and it's for cooking DIY like steamboat.

I loved this one, so classy! but it's a size L and really it was hanging so loosely behind, too big to be true=(

I thought this was special but chriss said it looked like a layered muffin. HAHA i guess that's what a future chef would say, compare everything to food.:)

Chriss and i both loved this top. It's super chio i tell you! But then it was a bit big (hence the hand extended behind) and it was still expensive even after sale.

pretty red dress which terence hated (i don't know why). But it did look a lil mature on me.

Simple and elegant, though a little too simple for my taste.

starlight starbright

simple black

another black which is similar

just to show you the shimmery halter

you dig this? i think this new guess add is GENIUS! for one, the latina beauty is sooooo voluptuous and has a belly! (say no to stick thin models! theyre unhealthy!) and the guy looks like milo ventimiglia from heroes.

Eh but on 2nd thought, the girl kinda looks like a man. WEIRD but err kinda sexy at the same time? HAHAH i'm so twisted. Oh yes, and does anyone think Amber Chia looks like a man? I do, sometimes. (SORRY D:)

OKEH PEEPS we're done! Tell me which dress you like best! Your opinion won't really matter though cause i already bought my prom dress!!! It's not in any of the above hehehe. I love my choice! I had a hard time choosing between shimmery grayish purple and royal red.

The salespeople at the store convinced me to get the purple (plus purple's really my favourite colour) so i did! (after super long consideration) They said purple is classy and unique.

When i came home, i showed my housemates and ridima and ros were unsure of the colour! They said it was sorta futuristic and not really that big a stunner. So I panicked HAHAHA yes i'm that indecisive and told them my aim was actually a red dress but the sales people convinced me otherwise!!!

And i was not allowed to exchange anymore according to the salesgirl! Ridima was like a momma taking care of her baby for she brought me to the store once again, talked to the salesgirl and i got my exchange!

So it's royal red everyone. Yay me!

I did think of just renting though, but the renting price is just about the same price as the dress i purchased(it was half price!) so i figured, hey why not just buy one so i get to own it forever.

The dress i bought has a medium flare for the skirt, is tafetta and has the seethrough layer on top which is longer than the inner tafetta length. The bodice has 4 layers of scrunched up chiffon so it's special. I don't think everyone will like it cause it's not really shapey and all, as in it's not the straight cut sorta long cutting, but it's more suitable for prom i think while shapey dresses are more for night dinners.

But tell me which dress you like best anyway!

And Pris, i wanted to go shopping with you but you were in penang! I'll still go with you though, if you want :)
