HELLO! i am halfway through packing up my notes. leaving this place soon! going back to my hometown :)(: i do miss it. i miss my family.

anyway, i got distracted whilst packing, what else is new. got so bored i was tempted to go for a jog in my shorts in the rain wtf. always liddis. always cannot sit still and focus on the task at hand. good news is..... i am actually making an effort to EXERCISE! this is so awesome. so girls, if you're not gym buffs, you should try breaking up with yo bf because you will have so much time on your hands that you will start venturing into the unknown abyss ie the gym HAHAHA.

anyway i went to the gym and ran on the threadmill for an HOUR, an hour okay. what is this shit. i can't even do 3 flights of stairs where did i get all my energy from? yeah then i went to use some random tricep equipment and also do some back thingamajiggy and also this sliding thingie. then i went to the floor mat to do some random body exercises.

hahahah i was cracking up to myself while i was exercising because i don't actually know any floor mat exercises apart from push-ups and sit up's so i GOOGLED lolol and i did some lean on your side and lift your leg exercise. and then two guys came on the mat and i swear they subtly tried to take my picture.

FFS why you need to be so perverted sia. can't you just take a picture of your own crotch. JEEZ. too many bad experiences with harassing idiots i think i'm giving up on guys entirely. next person i date is gonna have a huge burden on his shoulders to prove me otherwise.

anyway felt damn good after the workout. felt a gazillion pounds skinnier!!! and i recently painted my nails again!!! after naked nails throughout the whole exam period. don't know how such a small difference can make me feel ten times happier. true bimbo :)

so can you tell what my "style" is by now? because i can't :S probably go for "simple". OH i like heels a lot. i guess that counts as a style. but i wear flats on a daily basis :) but to be honest, heels make the most difference in my life. i am VERY PETITE sometimes i feel invisible. yes it's true. so a little height gives me joy to no end haha

and lastly, advice from sarah jane. all my girlfriends know this cos i tell it to them hahaha.

ok enough i am a lawyer ffs i should be more concerned about fiscal crises and politics and erm the elections. dammit. feel like writing some intelligent piece but i can't find what i want to write about. and you know, this law degree has made me extra critical over my writings that i tend to just shy away from discussing any major issue. *chicken cluck cluck*

but anyway i sat at nero today eating and reading the papers. so yeah that was me making an effort to keep up with current affairs. the papers here always scare me shitless because there are always all sorts of tragic news that are just out of this world. beyond all comprehension. but i've gotten used to it i guess. i especially like the Good Deed Feed section, where people send in entries of the deeds they've received from random strangers 

anyway the nero barista was soooo nice to me omggg! he gave me a free large drink even though by right i could only get the medium. the other day in starbucks i also got a grande mocha even though i was meant to get a tall only. why is everyone so nice suddenly?! 

must be to make up for all my encounters with harassing jerks =/

Doing a beauty tag because i am bored!!! and was randomly youtubing and found this tag HEH HEH yalah i was supposed to youtube more lawyerly stuff but i guess since i am a girl i can justify liking fashiony stuff? sorry, please don't hate me feminist friends, actually, i have quite a few feminist friends and they are totally fine with loving fashion and beauty because we are women and we have the privilege of liking such things alongside being opinionated so yah. i don't know why that explanation was necessary lol

QUESTIONS:

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?

lose eyeshadows. because i never ever wear eyeshadows because i'm content with eyeliner :)

2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?

i would rather chop it all off because it still grows!! HAH. i would not want to never be able to cut it again because super long hair gets freakishly scary once it grows like beyond your waist and that will make me feel like some pontianak or something. plus long hair would incur greater cost with the maintenance the upkeep the hair accessories. and since i'm petite i would feel like it devours me and weighs me down (the main reason i get haircuts, AM GETTING ONE AFTER EXAMS BTW! and it will change my look significantly!) heh heh heh

3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?

i only have coral blushers and bronzers so i'm not one to answer this but i'd rather have coral because my skintone is medium dark/medium fair (depending on what the season is) and i feel like pink blush makes me look too dolly (but i am still on the hunt for one i like) and also where i come from it's summer all year round so coral is in forever!

4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?

CLOTHES! because i'm not a huge makeup person at all

5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?

i would choose to have my eyeliner!! so yea i'd apply eyeliner as lipliner. like errr a dark purply taupey colour as lip liner and fill in with lipstick. just because i want eyeliner

6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?

hah. i don't shop at any but i will say sephora because i've been wanting to try makeup forever since FOREVER

7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?

one lip colour. because i hardly use lip colours (usually just slather on chapstick) and i only have a few lip colours i really like, usually it's light bronzy or it's dark maroon. and although i never use eyeshadow, i'm pretty sure once i start i won't want just one colour on my lids because different colours can change the windows to your soul LOL

8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?

summer clothes in the winter! notwithstanding the fact that i will freeze. but summer cardis can be worn in the winter for layering. and i will never ever give up my summer dresses, halters and shorts because i live for the summer. summer summer rah rah rah!

9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?

probably go with dark. i don't particularly like brights other than pinks and oranges but then again the shades of those are more pastel. dark nails i love, like brown, navy, green. sometimes i feel like they are too dark but if i did feel that way i could just go without polish. and dark colours match more clothes

10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?

i'd give up my favourite eye product because my lips not being chapped is important to me (and for my boyfriend too ;) HEH HEH HEH nah not really, he doesn't care

11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?

messy bun because i love buns although i'm more prone to ponytails because i get insecure how my bun looks since i can't see it LOL

12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?

never use lipgloss. because i can use lipstick and lip butters/chapsticks! hah your question is flawed

13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?

i'd rather get em shaved because i have bad eyebrows anyway! and then i can use falsh lashes (the individual ones) to STICK ON EVERYDAY fml hahhaahha or i will get them embroidered. but sharpie eyebrows are like WTF NEVERRR

14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?

without nail polish. because makeup in general helps!!! especially foundation!!! and if i didn't have em i can assure you i will be the ugliest woman on the planet. not just that, i won't look neat or professional, so that leads to no good jobs, no friends, no husband, basically, my life would END

nah, bf likes me without makeup. after a shower he'll look at me and say "so pretty without makeup why do you even bother to put them on?" (maybe i'm just lousy at putting makeup on or maybe he's just impatient and doesn't like it when i get ready too long lol) and my best friend grace isn't all that into makeup either and sometimes when i need a pick-me-up i'll put makeup on so i won't look shitty and she'll ask me to go natural. so yeah. life will probably not cease to exist. but nail polish is like MEH, who needs nail polish, you can just use water colour anyway :P if it destroys your nails then just cut em when they grow out!

Hi hi!

i know i just blogged yesterday but since i am so free (ie, deadline is this is friday and not tomorrow :p) , i am so excited to share about what i got today when i was out shopping on my own!

shopping on your own is one thing all girls must learn to enjoy. ok well i admit it's hard lugging things around and very tiring after you're done but the best thing about it is, the things you pick out are 100% you unlike if you shop with a friend/bf and they don't like something you like which makes you place the last size 6 of the limited edition on the rack and regretting it after!

the other upside is that you get to take however long you choose in the fitting room without feeling bad that your friends are waiting for you (note friends and not bf because my bf is obliged to wait HAHAHAHA ) sorry baby

but before that i wanna show you my no. 1 bimbotic accomplishment of the week!

i call them the complex dual coloured StrawRange nails :) they are so easy to do and they take like half an hour to do with an end result that is so dramatic and so suitable for spring!

can't stop staring at my nails now! as you probably already know, i only do my nails when i am free because i can't be arsed half the time.

ok so anyway the weather today was UHMAZING. sunny as in malaysia kind of sunny. i literally walked around shopping outdoors with a single cotton tee and jeggings and it was fun! ok well maybe a tad too hot since i've been here for so long.

so initially, i really wasn't planning on spending too much since i lost like about 350 pounds in the cancelled italy trip last christmas=RM 1750 POOF just like that. my paris trip is gonna come up to about 500 pounds so i need to again save for that. which sucks! because i haven't shopped since DECEMBER boxing day. it's been near 4 months.

anyway because i am on a strict budget i started off cruising the isles of primark! lol i hardly ever shop at primark because i'm not impressed with the quality and stuff but today i was reminded of the major reason why i never shop there and it's because everything is TOO BIG. all the stuff there are sized from 8 to 16 and i'm a size 6 or a size 4!

i waited in the queue to try some clothes that i thought looked pretty but they were all so unflattering. it's easy when you're tall and slender because you can easily rock a loose top but when you're petite it just devours you!

i did get a pair of green sandals which are really pretty! hoping to wear them for the summer with cute shorts. and i also got a very juicy couture-ish faux velvet pant suit without the pants(a true dilemma as i couldn't pick between brown / black! went with the black as i thought it accentuated my brown hair!), and a pair of dance sport pants.

then i went on to ms selfridge and found like the last size 6-es of discounted items! i got a pair of grey jeans (which i swear i've tried on b4 but never came around to buying!) , a formal high waisted skirt and a loose plaid top which hangs a little loose but is remedied (lol?) by tying the ends up to form a knot!

then i moved on to H&M and fell in LOVE with this green toga cocktail dress! it was chiffon and a really kind of emerald green. it did NOT look good on its own but it looked good when put on so i just had to get it even though it's actually a little tight around the waist.

more reasons to lose weight!

ok yea that was all i got and i proceeded to superdrug to get new natural falsies and toilet paper. my toilet paper runs out so quick i'm telling you.

all in all i spent about 65 pounds for like 9 items excluding the toilet paper ! that is VERY budgeted because that is like RM 325 in malaysia which is how much i used to shop when i was in kl anyway! (though i went much more frequently). and in the uk 60 pounds is usually only like 3 items for me on the normal basis.

anyway hooray to budgeted shopping. ima label this under "fashion" label even though i do not consider myself a fashionable person. i just think shopping kinda relates to fashion? maybe i should change it to "bimbo" :p

11 days to manchester! *pees in pants*

Worries starting to kick in! No longer easy to fall asleep at night SIGH

I am worried about the ensuite thing. My new room has an attached bathroom in it so that means i get my own bathroom space (no need to tahan my poo if got people in the hallway) HAHA yay! but i am worried because i use a lot of toilet paper and that means that it is gonna take up A LOT of my budget.

unlike before, i can't just use as much toilet paper as i want in shared bathrooms, provided FOC by the accommodation.

lol matt said that is a really ''important'' thing to worry about :p

i don't know about you but i don't feel at peace using minimal toilet paper. even after peeing. (guys you won't understand lol)

I will also need to buy myself a full length mirror now that i can no longer run secretly in and out of the shared bathroom which had the mirror!

I am damn sad actually because i just started a new song at dance class (paris hilton WTF!) but now i won't get to finish it ! *wails* sighhhhhh

I am also gonna miss the weather in malaysia terribly. I am the type of person who easily gets cold so me and mancunian weather don't really match. Except maybe spring weather is fine.

How am i gonna maintain ballet flats' cleanliness & GOOD SMELL with all the puddles in manchester. btw my red ballet blats just KO-ed *funeral mode*

How am i gonna drink cendol SOBS actually there are 2 or 3 malaysian restaurants in manchester neninenipoopoo :D:D manchester roxxxxxx!

I am in love with fashion that involves pretty pretty ribbons. I have no objections whatsoever! They are dainty and sweet and so cute! omg!

I saw this Coach wallet with matt the other day. It was leather black and had a ribbon on it! So! Cute! But i didnt have enough $$ la i still dream about it somedays :p but i'm very happy with my pink Guess.

My first floral item. I am aware the whole wide world is about florals now but i never got around to buying one till now. Mainly because i always feel a lao gu dong sorta gan jue with florals. When i try on some i look like your grandma XD

I think i mentioned before that i tried on this gorgeous red floral tight fitting dress at jane norman and matt loved it a lot on me but then i had to put it back on the rack because every single girl has one of those!!! and my tummy was also huge at that time so i felt like the dress was accentuating the hugeness of it

And true enough after i left manchester matt saw like 3 or was it 4 girls wearing the similar dress.

But on the day i tried on the red floral dress i ended up buying this yellow one sided jersey with retro prints on it. love it!

I think that to follow fashion, you need to be mega loaded because obviously seasons pass and what will you do with all the fashioney stuff you purchased when they were to go off? Eg, oversized bell bottomed jeans. I had those in like lower secondary form and i donated them to workers at the petrol station a few years back.

Unless of course you are really the type that needs to follow in stream then it may be worth it for you. Everyone has their kinda thing. Maybe you can end up selling them off once you get sick of it just before the season ends? I dunno.

I also got green yoga fold-over pants and a couple of fanciepantiies :p

Went on a shopping trip! But it wasn't really a shopping trip because.......... i woke up like at 3. =/ and left at like 4. and shops all closed at 7 =/ and i didn't know about closing times so matt and i ate first at around 5 because missing breakfast + lunch makes people super hungry.

Oh ya matt and i have this game where we'd sit by the laptop at imdb.com and each guess ranking of shows to see whose guess is closer to the rating on the site. Damn pathetic XD
