Anthropology

Heyya i'm on my bed atm just chillaxing, what a slack day even though i have my criminal law exam in 5 days which is the last of my papers for the academic year!

i just wanted to check in here because i didn't want an emo post at the start of my blog because that's how i am :D nobody wants to read about my philosophic description of african dessert drought? LOL but i love writing about african dessert droughts because i love concocting weird ideas in my mind which is why i prefer theory law questions rather than problem questions (despite the fact that i myself am very problematic)

i was emo the last couple of days because matt and i argued AGAIN!!!!!!!! and to think i just posted an entry congratulating us for getting over our rough patch! i totally jinxed it didn't i. i am going to shut my pie hole from now on! but we are ok now and i thought of a really interesting topic to talk about today just for fun!

and this topic is about my super cool anthropologist skills AHAHAHAH ok well i'm not sure this is the right term because i once asked this white guy who studied it and he said anthropology is the study of behaviour of tribes? and stuff? whatever, what i'm referring to is my ability to people-watch. technically this makes me a stalker but not in a scary way because i am innocent and UNSCARY!

ok so the white guy i just mentioned above right, when i first saw him i thought of ADAM SANDLER right away and that was actually what made me talk to him in the first place. i just randomly said hey, you look A LOT like adam sandler and he said YEAH, people say that too! Ok that isn't really something to be proud of since people think that too but i can really tell close resemblances. there was once i saw this guy who looked SO MUCH like the small camper cartoon kid in UP and when i asked my friends they said it was true, which means my skill extends to even cartoon characters LOL. AND i once talked to a guy in my accommodation and said "you look a lot like spiderman" and the girl next to him burst out laughing and she said "yea kinda!"

seeeeee? it is totally true!

i think i'm gonna call this the LOOKBOOK skill. there were other resemblances too though like the waitress in red chilli who looks a lot like zhang zi yi. oh and one time i tipped a waiter at at restaurant and left a note by my tip saying "just cause you look like finn from glee" AAHAHAHAHAH i totally hid behind a huge pole waiting to see his reaction after i left the restaurant and he smiled! and his smile TOTALLY looks like finn's.

ok yea those are just some examples. the next skill is the SIXTHSENSE skill. this is probably the one that is really useful. ok this has nothing to do with ghosts or anything like that hahaha this is just about sensing things. and i gotta say, i can be pretty darn accurate when it comes to these kinds of things depending on how open-book the person is. i only have one friend in the whole wide world who probably coincides with me in this area lol as in we form the same opinions of first impressions.

when i was high school, i used to tell grace that this guy or that guy had a crush on me LOL (no shame) and she used to call me really perasan and very errr shameless? lol but in the end every one of them would eventually confess to me (no surprise there cause i was a flirt lol) but the fact remains that i SENSE things well which is probably the reason i'm such a sensitive person. and i really get kirsten dunst's quote in the movie elizabethtown : everyone is less mysterious than they think they are.

because it's true :)

oh and i also cry a lot. i cry at every single glee episode. it's true. i'm such a crybaby. tell me a sad story and i'll tear up.

ok that's it! just something fun to share.

and now i gotta study for my exam :( but before that, lemme share with you my new nails!

DSC05052
i only did detail on my forth finger because i am not so free during this exam period. i really like it anyway. i think it looks special and different. but i don't really like the flower because it reminds me of an alien flower with a huge head o.O

DSC05057
check out my new ring :) i am loving it but matt does not love it (not the reason we fought btw LOL because i usually ignore his taste and just buy whatever i like) hahahaa

DSC05035(1)
and lastly a camwhore picture of me because i haven't posted one in a while, oh wait i have, but one more does no harm :D

final paper in five days and then it's paradise for 3 months of summer!

OH! and exciting news update!

i got an internship at a law firm in KL which is totally awesome because now i have a valid excuse to fly to kl during the summer and see matt and go shopping and breathe in kl air :)

it's really funny that the first thing i thought of when i got the internship was all the cute office outfits i get to wear! i am such a bimbo but i am also one who likes african dessert droughts

so don't judge unless you have SIXTHSENSE skills ;)

not that i judge

you know what i mean.

xx.

Quicksand

It is often rumoured that a journey that you undertake will adhere to the soles of your feet so long as you have in it a faith that takes you the distance. the cliche notion would be that there is truly no destination, just a faith that gets you by, at times prickling your pinkie toe with rough stone and gravel or at times devouring you into quicksand. the water that keeps you going runs out in the scorching dessert and a tear trickling down your cheek serves as the only strand of faith left in your broken pockets as you realise that alas, you can feel.

love like the flowers in spring time blooms only when season comes but drought, on the other hand attacks however long it wishes to, at times for centuries leaving a continent in starvation of the faith, the faith within the nectar sucked by the honey bee creating life, movement, colour, being, formation, strength, only to result into death when that strength overpowers as it stings the life into the being of another creature who daunts and rumbles with traits of implicit vulnerability.

where would love be if faith had dried up in the sahara, disappeared from all partaking having been sucked dry by predators of the world looking to crush their preys under their power and influence.

there is no faith without a compromise, without an antidote, a saviour, a blessing, a serendipitous act of fate which completes the very existence of the essence of faith.

and so dear wanderer why would you then travel in longing for the streams of mountain dew when it is by no means set in stone that destiny, in all its mythic magnificence would ever opt to transport you to paradise?

Goodbye

Today i embodied Newton's 3rd Law in its purest definition as i was for a moment skipping to the wind and in the next watching my entire world tumble down before me.

One is tonne

My thoughts are on a ROLL lately!

I can just space out for like 10 minutes and be completely unaware of all the thoughts overtaking me lol. just today at the library i had one of those *deng* moments

I remembered this dear girl from church camp. my friends all thought she was snotty when she gave her speech. i went to the camp without any ACTUAL friends lol so yea correction there (gone are the days of my bravery lol) so i made friends with her and that friendship was one that fell in instantly. i was 14. she was from another state. she knew which guy i was dating even though i didn't tell her cause my ex and i were both tried to keep it low seeing it was a church camp and i was freaking fourteen LOL

at the end of the camp we said our goodbyes by the steps. we exchanged emails and numbers and we hugged and we cried. i remember literally bowing my head onto my knees sobbing my heart out from that trip. i can't explain how great that short term friendship was, it fits the criteria of a summer fling perfectly lol

sadly we are so different now. i am so ruined by impurity and temptations of the world LOL and from how i see it she's still the very same girl i met 7 years ago. i miss her.

* * * * *

Then i thought of this girl i met when we were at this silly japanese scholarship test thing. she was totally cool and butch lol and i didn't even know her name! there were probably like 400 applicants and she so happened to have sat on the desk behind mine. we were anticipating an aptitude IQ test on the sciences and only a couple would be chosen for the scholarship. i just said hi to her when i saw her leaning with her head on the table, her face full of boredom and annoyance at the turn up and how she probably thought the same thing as i did, how the fuck am i going to get this freaking awesome scholarship to japan amid all these smart ass geniuses.

instantly she spoke to me about her "sour grapes" realisation lol and we just clicked. she looked a lot like a friend of mine's brother LOL. we wished each other good luck and attempted the questions on our own. after we were done we talked about it, how it bombed and reeked of difficulty. we were then given a japanese language paper which we were not supposed to take since we do not learn the language. but being the rebel that she was and knowing that i was one too (at the time) we totally took the japanese paper and randomly filled the answers in not knowing a single thing, just for fucks sake really :)

that is probably the main reason we both didn't get it ;P disobedience. i miss her.

* * * * * *

I thought of this old lady i met once in a rojak queue on a super sunny day in kl. i just spoke to her randomly and she started telling me stories of her kids and how they are halfway across the world. she told me about her son's marriage and her other kid's achievements. i asked her many questions about life, having in mind specifically the fact that i had been dating a muslim and i didn't know where we were going because i didn't see a future since i had no plans of converting my faith. she didn't know that of course but she told me that the future would take care of itself.

we reached our turns to get rojak and i went first. i waited for her to be done so i could say goodbye. i waved and she offered me a ride home to wherever i lived. i refused because i really wanted to walk and ponder on what she said to me. little old women like these give me hope. i miss her.

* * * * *

so that concludes the people i thought of today. i have only met them once in my life and it's just amazing thinking of the memories they left with me just by having been acquainted with me on one single occasion. there is always something special about meeting someone once and never seeing them again. they will never get the chance to hurt you, only love you and that makes you feel like a person so rich in this world. it makes you hold on to communitisation and it helps you feel like there are people out there who are truly beautiful.

just a random thought/thoughts! you know, sometimes i get immersed in thoughts so bad i realise that about 20 completely separate thoughts pass through my head from the moment i put the toothbrush in my mouth to the moment i rinse my mouth. AHAHAHAHA

thinking back, where did i go? what happened to my SPONTANEITY and SPUNK ?

Answer :

All day
Staring at the ceiling
Making friends with shadows on my wall
All night
Hearing voices telling me
That I should get some sleep
Because tomorrow might be good for something
Hold on
I'm feeling like I'm headed for a
Breakdown
I don't know why
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell
I know, right now you can't tell
But stay awhile and maybe then you'll see
A different side of me
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little impaired
I know, right now you don't care
But soon enough you're gonna think of me
And how I used to be
Me
Talking to myself in public
Dodging glances on the train
I know
I know they've all been talking 'bout me
I can hear them whisper
And it makes me think there must be something wrong
With me
Out of all the hours thinking
Somehow
I've lost my mind
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell
I know, right now you can't tell
But stay awhile and maybe then you'll see
A different side of me
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little impaired
I know right now you don't care
But soon enough you're gonna think of me
And how I used to be
I been talking in my sleep
Pretty soon they'll come to get me
Yeah, they're taking me away
I'm not crazy, I'm just a little unwell
I know, right now you can't tell
But stay awhile and maybe then you'll see
A different side of me
I'm not crazy I'm just a little impaired
I know, right now you don't care
But soon enough you're gonna think of me
And how I used to be
Hey, how I used to be
How I used to be, yeah
Well I'm just a little unwell
How I used to be
How I used to be

It's matchbox twenty's song UNWELL. omg i relate to it bagai isi dengan kuku wtf

except for the part about sleeptalking because i most certainly don't sleep talk. i used to sleepcry though? and sleepCUTMYSELF ?AAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

ok lah kidding lah but there was once during my depression days that i woke up with a cut on my wrist LOL but i think i just accidentally scratched myself don't worry about me lol

anyway that is all. take a moment to think of the one-timers in your life will you? :) i know that i have TONS :)

Bonjour Paris Day 4 (Au Revoir!): St Sulpice, Macaroons and Creme Brulee!

On the final day, matt and i kinda SLACKED because we kinda knew we covered most of paris. Ok fine not most of paris but we covered the spots we planned to have covered anyway :) paris has TONS of sightseeing spots, like if you walk randomly to some street you'd see nice architectural buildings around or a random beautiful fountain or two.

anyway we woke up like at 11 and checked out from our lovely hotel at 12.

DSC04722
we then went to have lunch at this small cosy restaurant recommended by the hotel. my mushroom soup! sooooo good yummmmmm!

DSC04724
matt's ravioli (appetiser)

DSC04726
my pasta with bacon and cheeseeeeeee super cheesyyyy

DSC04727
baby's beef with tagliatelli

DSC04729
creme brulee!!!! a must try! i wasn't in love with it but it was cool watching it flame lol.

DSC04732
profiteroles!!! :) they look like da bian lol ahaha. i wanted to try the souflee but i didn't in the end (very expensive)

DSC04735
after that we made our way to the metro again on our hunt for MACAROONS! we saw this along the way!!! TRIBUNALS!! they are administrative courts which i just learned about this semester

DSC04736
had to take a pic of the court room lol and i tagged all my law friends in facebook :p i like my dimple here! i haven't seen it for quite a long time because i am usually never genuinely smiling AHAHAH due to my lack of happiness AHAHAH =.=

DSC04737
see what i told you about random fountains. we saw this outta nowhere. i think it's the St Sulpice fountain

DSC04739
and the St Sulpice church nearby! i don't know why i've never heard of this saint before hmm

DSC04741
i just love imitating statues

DSC04742
beautiful stained glass of the crucifix and candles for intercession

DSC04744
loveeee this piece of stained glass

DSC04745
pretty pillar

DSC04748
main altar

DSC04751
then we reached the famous macaroon place Pierre Herme (PH) as seen on the door. this place was very damn classy and run by asians lol. pei hau (PH) are you reading this? lol

DSC04761
ok just to clarify the macaroons weren't originally that ugly. they got crushed HAHA. we didn't eat them right away because we were full from lunch so we brought them around and they get crushed so easily i'm telling youuu.

DSC04762
we got 3 pieces from PH and 3 pieces from the other famous place called Laduree. they are soooo darn expensive can! maybe like 2 euros for 1 tiny piece you can gobble up in a second.

DSC04763
dear eating a passionfruit macaroon. i actually don't get the hype over these small delicate thingies. i mean sure they are sweet and stuff but they're not all that, not to me anyway HEE. i prefer cotton candy :D cheap and FLUFFY~

Ok after that we decided to make our way to the Sacre-Coeur Basilica in Paris.

basilique_du_sacre_coeur
It apparently looks like this, says google. but i wouldn't really know because we didn't make it there in the end.

matt's friends told us their experience nearby the basilica. there were basically many men randomly coming up to you and tying black strings on your finger while they got chatty with you and after they were to be done with their string-tying, they'd ask for donations in exchange for that "work of art". apparently one of them cussed at our friend when he refused to donate.

so i got freaked out hahaha. matt and i decided to go nonetheless but stopped at an earlier metro stop to avoid the so-called string tying men but once we got off the stop we got really freaked out by how dodgy the place was. i mean no offence but there was instantly a change of atmosphere and people were doing all sorts of illegal selling. it was clear the place was an area for the lower class. i just had a weird feeling in my tummy so matt and i decided to skip the sacre coeur!

and we commuted back to the stop of our hotel and had a drink at a nearby restaurant. we then bought pastry at this FANTASTIQUE pattiserie called Le Petit Duc. Do visit that pastry shop when you're in paris! the crossaints are to die for :)

DSC04764
we then made our way back to our hotel to collect our luggage we left there this morning and i took a picture of this really skinny building nearby. it looks so interesting

DSC04765
tampons? apparently the whole thing translates to number label burning buffer.. whatever that means

DSC04766
speaking of toiletries for females lol, i took a final picture of the interesting toilet booths in the airport in france :D

DSC04846
and got myself a really pretty hoodie as a souvenir :))) i love it. it looks a little big but hoodie's are meant to be big and comfy.

And that was it. We flew back and said goodbye to romantic paris.

What did i think about paris?

Well i thought the commuting was a lot of hassle (me being a small town girl) haha, i thought it was maybe slightly overrated in terms of being the city of love (i would actually call barcelona the city of love instead) and i thought it was interesting that most female tube travellers were in converse shoes. like super many. reignited my passion for converse type shoes hahaha. apparently the trend has returned even in manchester. i don't know if it's just a summer type trend for rainy days but it definitely started in paris first.

oh and i was of course frightened by the gungho beggars. they really scared the crap out of me but people in poverty are always desperate aren't they? *solemn* i try to donate everytime i drop by the church.

nonetheless, paris struck me as a really safe city(for most of it anyway). unlike spain, i didn't feel the strong sense of family love or religious symbolism but i did feel like the french were as a whole very accommodating, friendly and more open to racial harmony as compared to my experience in england as a whole.

i guess it may come down to the fact that there are many asians/blacks who are french and so the people there are more accustomed to having people of different colour within their midst.

The escargot, pastry and DUCK were delicious! if i ever eat at a french restaurant again i am most definitely ordering duck :) i did not try foie gras unfortunately because i'm not a fan of exotic animal parts (duck liver).

overall paris is filled with historical spots and you could probably spend an entire week there and not be done with it, what with the louvre being so huge and all.

omg i now feel the urge to rewatch the episode of gossip girl where blair and serena were in paris! i'm pretty sure they shopped in Champs Elyssee!!!

Ok well it's time for me to say goodbye for travelling for now and STUDY STUDY STUDY! 5 days to exam gee thanks T_T

Plan to travel again with bf in june before we return home, we might go to cambridge? not sure yet.

Hope you enjoyed my entries and hope you now know all the must-go places from reading this! definitely try the Sacre-Couer and don't let what i wrote freak you out! i'm just overly cautious that's all hee.

Catch y'all again soon.

Au revoir Paris! je vouz manquez!

It's normal to feel the way you do

HEY i hope you guys like what i did to my layout! there were soooo many pretty artsy pictures to choose from but i wanted something cutesy to fit the fanciepantiies theme in my attempt to be a shallower person lol

Anyway I was at the library yesterday and i just have to share what i saw when i was on my way out. there were like words written in chalk on the pavement leading to the road! (vandalism) the words were all so inspirational! and FUNNY! AHAHAHA

there were motivational sentences like "hope you had a productive day", "every word counts, keep going" (for essay writers), "keep going you're doing fine" and "it's normal to feel the way you do"

wtf hahahaha super cute can!

I love it when i see stuff like this , it super makes my day! :))))) i was laughing while walking trying to read every single sentence.

oh and something else which really touched me yesterday was seeing what my lecturer had written in the first page of his book! ok so this lecturer is really kinda cool and bad ass and he's always talking about going to pubs for beer and giving us random breaks when he feels bored while lecturing.

(should probably not say so much lest i get sued for defamation)

anyway he's actually super brilliant and awesome. i was reading his book today and i turned to the dedication page and saw that he dedicated his book to his little son!

i don't know, i just felt so touched by it, mainly cause he's kinda bad ass and just knowing that he'd dedicate his life's achievement to his cute little son made me think of how wonderful love can be. it just makes me feel SO TOUCHED sniff. someone so tough could still feel the same love that a softie would feel. it's just amazing to me.

my exam is in 8 days so i need all these kinda lovely stuff to keep me going LOL

i aint feeling much of happiness lately LOL and every little act of love counts.

it's really when i'm all stressed and emo that i appreciate the wonders of love around me. yknow if God makes us feel down sometimes i bet it's because He wants us to be vulnerable and sensitive enough to feel the little beauty he places within our midst.

right ok, that's all i wanted to say! wish me luck for my exam preparations and keep me in your prayers :)

Bonjour Paris Day 3 : DISNEYLAND

DSC04545
On day 3, a girl and a guy who looks like billieboo rode on the metro! (again)

billieboo!
BILLIEBOO! (he's gone now to catheaven) sobssssssss

DSC04546
girl and lansi bf lol

AND GUESS WHERE WE WENT! hehehehehehhee

DSC04549
WALT DISNEY STUDIOS YAHOOOOOO
ok so walt disney studios isn't disneyland, it's a different area which matt and i went first because we thought we'd check out disneyland a little later at 5pm when the parade was scheduled to be on. (we woke up at like 12 oops my bad because i got a bad dream and was sulky)

DSC04551
spot me lol. this place was just filled with eateries

DSC04552
Stitch live! heh. ok so this was the only show my friends and i didn't manage to go for in Hong Kong Disneyland in 2006 so i decided to take a pic of it, not that i managed to go this timeeee

DSC04553
picture of dear with that... thing

DSC04554
mary poppins umbrella and artificial rain :)))))

DSC04555
we went for our first ride/show on this armageddon thingie. this was the introduction. after that we went into this room with a huge vault in the middle and we pretended we were in the space ship and there was some meteor (or something) attacking us and the space ship got all noisy and scary and weird parts starting moving and dropping and it ended with a huge fire blast in the vault LOL

which was really HOT and freaky.

DSC04561
then we went for this car show inspired by Lightning McQueen from Cars. it's basically stunts that you see on disney movies with real drivers doing them!

DSC04571
pretty cool stunts like the car reversing backwards up a slope and other (fake) gunshooting actions. and it ended with this fire blast once again near the waters. the fire was bigger but i wasn't in time for the shot.

just a video or two for you to check out some stunts.

stupid flickr doesn't allow me to upload more than 2 videos per month so i guess i can't show you guys more videos but i might upload it next month or something lol. that guy was burnt on purpose lol i was a lil worried about him for a while there lol

DSC04572
then we went for the slinky dog ride YAAAAY for kids because i am scared shitless of rollercoasters. the most i've been on are the rollercoasters in sunway lagoon and everyone knows those are for no0bies. no, i've never been to genting/jerudong/blackpool/alton towers yada yada

DSC04573
girl with horrendous hair colour and guy with huge megawatt smile :)
this ride was super fun can! i loved it and tbh it was kinda scary for me too AHAHAHA it had the escalating motion and your stomach feels like its about to fly out your tummy. (but i'm sure all ye frequent rollercoasterettes are immune to this feeling). i even hate the ones i feel on the plane fyi , yes that's how lousy i am

DSC04576
and we saw this scary pirate ship concept rollercoaster.... which i don't intend to ride on.. ever.. due to the absence of balls. not that people with balls are allowed to ride on things LOL

DSC04577
buzz light year!

DSC04578
ditto

DSC04579
cars!

DSC04582
then we went for this animagique show!!! it was nice. mickey and donald duck and lots of other cartoon animations :)

DSC04585
hollywood tower ride behind! super scary lift drops

i think this was cinderella's stuff?

DSC04588

DSC04612
woody and little bo peep!

DSC04613
winnie the pooh and piglet !

DSC04614
ok at this time there was like a sorta intermission when winnie and gang lol called lil kids up front to dance with them. i was convinced it was a malfunction in the system/song hence the need of delay but matt insisted that it was on purpose zzz

DSC04615
honeybees

DSC04616
my fav! peter pan! stupid captain hook! lol. i was so scared of him that i kinda yelped when i saw him and GUESS WHAT! he came TOWARDS ME and pushed my sunglasses of my head and onto my face to cover my eyes ahahahaha

stupid captain hook. i was really scared ok and he just had to come bug me of ALL PPL and i am not even a kid. but he wasn't as scary another pirate who had that perverted look in his eyes lol no pics of him sorry

DSC04617
grand pirate ship!

DSC04618
peter pan has been my favourite disney movie since i was a child :)

DSC04619
i am actually not sure who they are. can anyone tell me?

DSC04620
there were these villains too! which was pretty cool because there were no villains in the hong kong disneyland parade!

DSC04621
they moved really sneakily. and they're all really smart because they know how to spot cameras and look into them. i don't really know which villains they are though hmmm

DSC04622
villain float!! hades from hercules, and i think that's the jafar snake from aladdin, but i don't know where the gargoyle is from, was there an evil gargoyle from hunchback of notre dame?

i am in love with the photos from disney parade! *GIDDY*

DSC04641
after the parade was done, we went to explore!

DSC04642
first we went to the it's a small world ride :)

DSC04644
i vaguely remember this being my favourite ride of all time when i was little so matt allowed me to check out fantasy land first!! disneyland was divided into several kingdoms, fantasyland, discoveryland, adventureland, frontierland and main street USA.

ok so i should probably say right here right now that we didn't manage to cover the entire disneyland in a day! baby said we should've totally skipped the walt disney studios but we couldn't have known paris disneyland was so hugeeeee

DSC04646
back to the it's a small world ride *GIDDY*

DSC04651
i took like a gazillion photos of this ride but you'll have to excuse me, childhood memories :)

gorgeous! the song was pretty repetitive but it was magical inside. we rode in a boat and it was all about how the world is so small and we're made up of different races and stuff. love it!!!!

DSC04670
after we were done with the ride, we took random pics of like this pretty lawn!!!!

DSC04672
and dumbo rides which i wanted to go on but dear said no because it was a waste of time boohoohoo nvmlah i agree lah because i've been on so many of those kind of cutesy rides already lol

blur picture of wendy. you must excuse these lame photos, i must post them because i love peter pan

DSC04687
peter and the ship! the ride was great! i think it was my favourite ride :) it was kinda the entire story inside and when we reached the place of the skull, the flying thing we were riding on got rocky and freaky lol

DSC04693
we also went on a snow white ride but that was kinda lame because it was all about the stupid wicked witch and she kept laughing her evil laugh. *stammer* always had a fear of her, i shut my eyes lol

DSC04694
ok so we were kinda running outta time so we decided to ride one last scary ride (for dear's sake) and i told him i'd do the space mountain because i've done it before in hongkong and it was bearable but as it turned out this was SPACE MOUNTAIN MISSION 2 and i didn't have the guts for it because it looked pretty darn scary

baby was kinda sad so to matt's friends if you are reading this, please bring him on that ride next time if you ever go with him to paris disneyland

i made it up to him by riding on another ride, star wars something something. pretty fun and bearable

DSC04695
just a picture of a pretty ride

ok so that was all we managed to cover in disneyland! we didn't manage to see everything because ride queues took up a lot of time. disneyland is meant to be explored for like 2-3 days anyway so we couldn't have it all

DSC04696
we then had buffet at disneyland because we were so darn tired! food was quite yummy but quite salty too. the chicken wings are delicious. this plate doesn't do the food justice la lol

DSC04707
by the time we got out it was dark and we took pictures with the castle (though they aren't very nice pictures)

DSC04708

it even comes with a spoon!

Overall, we didn't manage to explore the entire disneyland. but matt and i were both satisfied with the time we had there. disneyland is always fun!

if you guys wanna go i suggest you finish the entire disneyland before going into walt disney studios :D unless you plan to stay for a couple of days. queues are a bitch, so plan your time wisely, and pick and choose the rides you are only interested in. there are time slots given in a sheet so you can check them off and make a plan.

matt and i were exhausted after that. walking around a lot really drains your energy! we then had to ride the metro back to our hotel and that easily took 2 hours. disneyland is way out of paris so you can expect to ride back late.

ok there is a final entry of paris after this, stay tuned!
