Guttentag! (Days 3 & 4) Beautiful Delusion

Germany Day 3!!

we spent the day visiting the castle which beauty inspired the sleeping beauty castle :) the castle at the beginning of all disney shows, yknow, when the view turns and swirls with all the princes and princesses SIGH I LOVE IT SOOO MUCH

btw my friend told me the little mermaid actually didn't end up with the prince and she killed herself instead.. true story.. (if mermaids even exist hahaha)

anyway yea this castle is called Schloss Neuschwanstein! with a neigbouring castle called Hohenschwangau!

DSC07804
a view of the slushy grounds lol

DSC07809
pretty snow!

DSC07810
we had to walk uphill to reach the castle!!!

DSC07811
there were stinky horses to carry those who prefer not to walk (ME! ME!) but we didn't take the horses because they take slower (maybe for you they do lololol) and we were in a hurry because the tour was due to start in 15 minutes. anyway my friends who were with me were all super fit sia how come you all can walk so FAST? i struggled ttm. i need help. lol

DSC07812
beautiful delicate snow :)

DSC07813
aaaah trees! i love trees!

anyway we went for the tour which was quite crappy because the tour guide spoke real softly and the group was HUGE. but anyway we weren't allowed photos in there so no photos for y'all SOBS. it's like the classic pretty pretty ceilings, big ass rooms, etc... like in my chadworth entry.

basically the young prince ludwig stayed in the castle and he's always been dreamy HEHEHE and he spend lots of his time and wealth building castles for the fun of it hahahaha because he's cute and i love him! anyway yeah, so some of the people in the bloodline weren't too happy about it and they called him delusional and tried to get him off the throne but he didn't qualify under the delusional test LOL but one day, they found his dead body floating in the rivers around the castle. and rumour has it, some officials killed him to get him off the throne though many cover it up to say he killed himself which germans refuse to believe le sigh

of course lah! you build such a pretty castle why would you not wanna stay in it in peace forever and ever hehehehehhehehe

on our way down. oh yes btw because there were horses, there were LOTS OF HORSE POOP EVERYWHERE and it was quite the torture (for me, although some people just chose not to pay heed) uhhh hello i don't want to ruin my boots okay! anyway there were those huge lumped ones and those like kinda faded ones but i refused to step on any. and since we were going downhill having seen the castle, i was so worried that if i ran too fast to catch up with my friends i'd fall and end up frolicking in horse poop. good lord how SCARY

DSC07839
couldn't stop taking pictures of the view. so pretty. oh yes forgot to mention, before we went downhill, we had hot dogs and these german dough ball thingies made by a dough ball maker and it was DELISH! soooo yummy ttm, i think they are called scheeballen (SNOWBALLS!) they are like covered with sugar and are warm and creamy inside. yumsss perfect for the cold water. i crave them now!!!!!!

inside the castle. other relatives of prince ludwig stayed in the castle. again, no pictures of the inside, but we had this like telephone device thingie to listen to all the historical facts and what each symbol signified. oh yes, the prevailing memory was the king's bedroom! WTF the wall had like NAKED WOMEN all over it and apparently, the queen's bedroom was downstairs along the stairs. wtf. why don't they sleep together? he's obviously a horny men who fancies multiple women le sigh why liddis? :(
